Hampooj - Hi, my name is Nick, and I’m a gamer. I’m 23 and have been gaming pretty much as long as I can remember. It started with a NES and evolved along the Nintendo route through my childhood and teenage years. I was never that into Sony, even though I love rpgs and the Playstation had some amazing ones. As things are nowdays I’ve pretty much given up on consoles. I’m a PC gamer now, not completely to my liking. The next-gen consoles have just gotten too expensive for me currently and the last one I bought was a PS2. Oh well. I love bad games just as much as I love bad movies and for the same reasons. I’ll play and enjoy just about any genre of game. Currently playing EverQuest 2 as my main game.

BullCopra -

Cabafett – Hiyas, My name is George, 37 years old from Florida. Long time gamer dating back to around 1980 when Pong and Q-bert were rocking the arcades lol. I have played most of the p2p and a few f2p mmo’s with Runescape and Lineage 1 being my first 2 . Currently I am returning to World of Warcraft and later this year I will be sinking my teeth in Guild Wars 2 . On another note, I read a lot of R.A. Salvatore books , alot of gaming blogs and build pc’s when I can

Sevok – Sevok has been an MMO addict since UO was released way back in the stone age (1997) Since then MMOs have been his only gaming genre, and he’s played (and beta tested) pretty much all of the Western ones - leading to Nomadic Gamer Syndrome.  He gravitates toward pet based classes and casters.  In the real world, he’s known as Jon Craig and is lead programmer for a small software company.  He’s married, has no kids (but has tons of pets), and lives in Indiana, USA.

Rouac – Rouac lives in the northwest where he spends his time staying out of the rain, drinking too much coffee, working on his small business, gaming, and not finishing the short stories and blog posts he writes.

Chubbylilbuddy -  Hi my name is Terry Shust or better known as “Chubbylilbuddy” or “Kuzab”, I am a 37 yr old male who has been gaming since I was knee high to a grass hopper, or something like that. So I guess my gaming days started way back in the late 70’s early 80’s when we use to sit on the back porch and play D&D, Yes I remember playing D&D (Pen and Paper) after that we had an intelivision and Pong was my weakness. then I remember upgrading to the Atari 2600 and spent many hours playing space invaders and pitfall,  As I have grew over the years and found a passion for gaming, my console collection grew from owing a ColecoVision, to a Texas Instruments computer, as time passed and newer more advanced consoles came out I had them all, Atari 2700, NES, SNES, PS1,PS2, GameCube, Xbox,Wii,  Xbox 360. Although I never had the pleasure of owning a Sega Genesis or been able to afford the PS3, I continued my gaming perfection on those older consoles looking for the best one around, looking for the holy grail of gaming.

So now this brings us into the present day and I admit that I am addicted to MMO’s. I found MMO’s back when “Ruins of Kunark” came out for Eq1 and fell in love with the large array of content that needed to be done and the idea to be lost from reality and immerse myself in a fantasy world where I could do things that I have only dreamed about in the past. Some of the games I have played over the years include EverQuest, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, City of Heros, Runes of Magic, FreeRealms, Runescape, Wizard101, Dungeons & Dragons: Online, Star Trek Online and now Eq2 which has been my home since launch day.

So this is me in a nutshell, a 37 yr old man trapped in a timeless arena of Gaming. I shall play till I die, so bury me with the controller, Keyboard and mouse as I will be playing in the afterlife.

Yogi – My name is Gavin Townsley and I am an MMO junky.  I write for the site flexyourgeek.com and also post occasionally to MMOvoices. I love to game and I love to write.  Combining the two has made me happier than an Orc in an axe shop. You can find me on twitter at @GavinFYG. Communities have always been the pull to MMOs for me, and I do my best to contribute and participate as much as possible.  When I am not writing, you can find me chest deep in the worlds of EQ2, Fallen Earth, and Guild Wars.

Pipjames - Phil James is a husband, father and stand-up comic.  He lives in Sheffield, England with his beautiful wife, Fay.  When he is not thinking about her, he is thinking about video games.  When he is not thinking about games, he is thinking about food.  When he is not thinking about food, he is sleeping.

Rage Quit Jane -

Randolph Carter - I’ve been playing video games longer than I can remember. I discovered MMOs perhaps later than most (something I tend to regret) and have been playing them pretty consistently for about 5 years now.  Learning a new game’s mechanics, figuring out the layout of a world and immersing myself in it are all things I never seem to tire of.  This may explain my tendency to move from game to game and never reaching that elusive level cap.  I’m an explorer more than an achiever.  I solo more often than not.  I don’t mind grinding out levels.  It can be therapeutic for me.  I will play the occasional single player RPG, but I’ve found a very comfortable and seductive home in online worlds.

ShatteredBlog – I’m Thomas, and my video game experience stretches back to console rpgs and early Apple II learning games. I enjoy trying new things and speaking my mind about them! I joined the Nomadic Gamer project to talk about the games we play and the enjoyment I get from them. I also have a personal blog at shatteredblog.wordpress.com

Phoenix -

Mythokia - Derrick “mythokia” Lim can largely be summarized as a geek, avid gamer and aspiring writer who is currently in the midst of his mandatory military service. He milks every second of his free time taking on various alter-egos in virtual worlds, where he can pretend to matter.

Stargrace – My name is Stephanie Morrow, and I write for MmoQuests.com, besides running Nomadic Gamer.  I play far too many games to remember, but I absolutely love to write, which is where the idea for Nomadic Gamer came from. I’m hoping to continue writing here, and I hope everyone else enjoys this site! My favorite games are MMOs because I just love the politics and social interaction that comes from adding a mass of people to a situation. You can contact me at stargrace@mmoquests.com
